The Pathfinder Club is centered in the "physical-mental-spiritual tripod" which develops activities to meet the needs and interests of children and adolescents between 10 and 15 years old, with a specific focus on the religious activities of this age group.

Much of the Pathfinder Club program is built around physical activities. According to the Pathfinder club manual, this focus is explained because "young people between 10 and 15 years old are at a stage of growth and very rapid physical development." According to the philosophy, many of the club activities involve action, adventure, challenge and group activities, which "provide opportunities for the development of new attitudes and skills that produce personal growth, team and community spirit,". These are part of the tripod of the philosophy to work towards "citizenship and loyalty" and that preach respect for "God, His creation, and His church.
Pathfinders is a world wide Youth Group that teach skills in many different ways. We do crafts, Honors, Outings, Campouts, Community Service Projects, and just hang out together building relationships for a stronger and healthier community. Any young person in grades 5-8 can join and be part of PATHFINDERS.
The Crescent City Pathfinders will meet on Wednesday Nights from 6:00 P.M to 7:30 P.M starting January 14, 2026 and through the rest of the school year.
We follow our core curriculum for each are group that is designed to enhance personal growth.
Through the year Honor Badges are awarded for many of the activities we do.
Youths from all backgrounds are encouraged and welcome to join!
Registration is on January 14, 2026 at 6:00 P.M in the school Gym of the Crescent city Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 1770 Northcrest Dr in Crescent City. The first meeting will be short but both the parent and child/children need to be present to complete paperwork and ask question.
Interest cards are available at the church lobby to fill out and leave. We wish to have these filled out and completed by December 31, to give us an idea of how many children are interested in registering. If you have questions or might need more information please call (707)951-9872
